Honey Butter Syrup & Oatmeal Pancakes

In honor of the Tennessee Honey Festival, I'm sharing a delicious recipe for Honey Butter Syrup to top off your oatmeal pancakes, or whatever style pancakes you like! A special thanks to Venison for Dinner for these amazing recipes! I hope you and your family enjoy! Bon Appétit!


Honey Butter Pancake Syrup

Whips up in just five minutes and uses ingredients you have in your pantry!


Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. raw honey, 2/3 cup

  • 4 oz. butter, 1/2 cup

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

  • Pinch of salt, optional


Instructions:

  1. Gently melt all the ingredients together, whisking to combine.

  2. Serve warm over pancakes, waffles, french toast, you name it!

  3. Store in a jar with lid.


Hearty Oatmeal Pancakes

A delicious breakfast staple that gives you energy all day long!


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats

  • 2 cups buttermilk

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 1/2 cup flour of choice

  • 1 tsp. baking soda

  • 1 tsp. baking powder


Instructions:

  1. About 12-36 hours before making pancakes, mix all the ingredients together, cover the batter, and store in the fridge.

  2. Cook over low heat for about 2 minutes on each side, or the bubbles break.
